On this tour we will visit Tomar, "the City of the Knights Templar". We will understand the transition from the Templars to the Order of Christ, which influenced the Age of Discovery and changed the history of Portugal and the world. We will visit Tomar Castle and the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also visit the charming historic center of Tomar. On the way, we will visit the legendary Almourol Castle, located on a small island in the Tagus River. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - This is a private tour in a passenger car for up to 4 travelers!
