Tour Details

On this tour, we will visit the historic town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its romantic and mystical atmosphere. We will visit Pena Palace, its main landmark, famous for its mix of architectural styles (Moorish, Manueline, and Renaissance). We will visit Quinta da Regaleira, a space full of symbolism, enigmatic gardens, and the Initiation Well, an "inverted spiral tower" with its Templar and Masonic mysticism. Afterwards, we will descend the beautiful Sintra mountain range and its roads to the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. As Camões said, it is here that the sea ends and the land begins! For those who love nature, it is an exuberant place. After Cabo da Roca, we end the day in Azenhas do Mar, a charming village nestled in the rocks facing the sea. OPTIONAL: It is also possible to visit the Moorish Castle or the Monserrate Palace or even the Capuchos Convent, but it's impossible to see them all in a single day. Ideally, you should reserve two days to see them all. It's possible to go to Cascais depending on the time spent in Sintra. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - This is a private tour in a passenger car for up to 4 travelers! For group tours or if you want a larger or luxury car, contact us for a new quote! - All tours are flexible! Take your time (as long as you don't exceed 8 hours per day)! - Times to choose from: 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm or 10 am to 6 pm - We pick up and drop off at your hotel! - We do not guide you inside the monuments.
